Everything you need to know before enrolling at  Lotus Healthcare Academy — from schedules and tuition to hands-on training and certification.

At  Lotus Healthcare Academy, we offer a hands-on Phlebotomy Training Program designed to prepare students for national certification and entry-level employment in the healthcare field. We are located in Raleigh NC.


We offer multiple schedule options:

  • Weekday Program: 6 weeks
    • Day Class: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    • Evening Class: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Weekend Program: 8 weeks
    • Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 AM – 2:45 PM


Tuition for the Phlebotomy Training Program is $1,200.

This includes:

  • Hands-on lab training
  • National NHA exam prep
  • National NHA CPT exam
  • Training supplies
  • Books/materials


Yes. A payment plan is available:

  • $150 non-refundable seat deposit to secure enrollment
  • Remaining balance split into biweekly payments

Buy Now, Pay Later options may also be available at checkout.


No prior healthcare experience is required. Our program is beginner-friendly and designed to teach students from the ground up.


Students must provide:

  • Two forms of identification
  • High school transcript, diploma, GED, or completed college transcript
  • Completed enrollment documents
  • Seat deposit payment


Yes. Hands-on training begins early in the program and is a major focus throughout the course.

Students will practice:

  • Venipuncture
  • Capillary sticks
  • Tube handling
  • Specimen processing
  • Patient interaction
  • Proper safety procedures


Yes. As part of the hands-on learning experience, students practice venipuncture skills on fellow classmates under instructor supervision.

All students are required to sign consent forms prior to participating in live venipuncture practice. Safety procedures and infection control protocols are strictly followed during all lab activities.

Students are also initially trained using mannequins and simulation equipment before progressing to live sticks.


We understand some students may feel nervous initially. Instructors provide guidance, support, and gradual skill progression to help students build confidence in a safe learning environment.

However, venipuncture competency is a required part of phlebotomy training and is essential for successful completion of the program.


Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam.


Yes. NHA exam prep and the national certification exam are included in tuition.


Yes. We provide:

  • National exam preparation
  • Hands-on skills training to prepare students for entry-level employment opportunities
